Not So Little Anymore

Our Little Peanut is not so little anymore.
Where does the time go?

The last month has been full of discovery and growth.  Clare says new words every day, she tries new things, and she certainly makes us laugh on a daily basis.

A few of her recent obsessions include: playing outside (it's finally cool enough to be out there for more than three minutes), eating popcorn (pronounced "pa-po"), taking baths (she literally squeals with delight at the mere mention of the word), and "helping" me around the house (she "carried" in the recycle bin today, and she tried to wipe up her spilled water with a burp cloth).

Reading, however, remains one of her all-time favorite activities!

She snuggles with Uncle Tory when he reads to her.  :)

It's hard to believe that Clare is already 16-months old.
Before we know it, she'll be a teenager!

LOVE reading your blog! love our baby girls. h. carried her dirty diaper to the garbage this a.m. and then stuck her belly out and looked at me with the biggest grin -- so proud of herself! she is also starting to say "peas" for "please". so glad you are entering the season for outside...just as we are hunkering down to stay in! although, h. loves her new boots. she says, "uh oh" every time snow gets on them though. (;
blessings!

Oh No. Don't say that!! You should make the same deal with Clare that I have with Abbie. Abbie has agreed to "stick" at 2 and in exchange, she wants "cake."
