Future Flying Dutchman?

Our little Flying Dutchgirl has had a busy few days. This is her sleeping position, and she fell asleep within moments of reaching the horizontal position. Who do you think she looks like now? We go back and forth, and people tell us all different things. What do YOU think?

While We Were Out...

Clare and I were in Michigan for six days, and I thought that Phil was at home enjoying some down time while we were gone. I should have known better! Without a basement or adequate storage space, our extra bedroom quickly turned into a junk room (boxes, Discovery Toys stuff, clothes, and everything that didn't fit somewhere else).

The first picture is from a long time ago, but it gives you the idea.
While we were gone, Phil painted the room, organized all of the junk, and created a wonderful storage/shelving unit. The shelves (on the left) hold SO MUCH STUFF, and they will help us stay clean and organized.
This is our make-shift basement for now, but at least it's tidy, organzined, and surrounded by a great new color.
Needless to say, Phil was VERY busy while we were gone. He was sore and worn out from lifting all the awkward lumber by himself, but everything turned out perfectly. What a guy! :)

Another week in Michigan!

Clare and I are in Michigan for the week. We've been seeing lots of people, doing lots of toy parties, and surviving the cold weather. Even though we've been having fun, we miss Phil (Daddy) VERY MUCH!!!
These are some of my high school friends (Katie, Autumn, Melissa, and Missy) who came over on Thursday evening. It was great to see everyone again, and they were expecting to "make the blog." :)

Happy Birthday, Melissa!!!
Brianna enjoyed holding Clare.Grandpa D. has the magic touch...
...and so does Grandma H.!
Clare loves playing with Grandpa on the floor, but Grandpa might enjoy it even more than she does.
Same Grandma...another day, another nap!
More play time with Grandpa. :)
What kind of magic touch does Grandma D. have???

Our Little Lamb

It was a chilly morning in Florida, and Phil bundled Miss Clare up in this adorable little outfit from Uncle Adam and Aunt Elissa. It's still a bit too big for her, but it was was SO CUTE to see her swimming in the snuggly jacket. Within the few mintues of snapping pictures, she soaked it with drool. What a babe!!!

Fun in Florida!

Our weekend was restful, relaxing, and full of smiles. Clare took a three hour nap today, and Phil and I almost matched that. I've never been a napper, but I logged two hours this afternoon. That was a record for me, and it felt GREAT!
So Sweet!
So Sneaky!!!

Another fun weekend!

We had another fun day at Busch Gardens. Brian (Phil's brother) and Marcie are in Florida for a long weekend, and we're having a GREAT time with them.

Phil, the bird man, gave us some special goodies to attract the birds.
Clare recently discovered that it makes people laugh when she sticks out her tongue. Therefore, we have several new tongue/smile pictures.
Cotton candy is okay for a three-month-old, right? Should we add that to our handbook?
Brian got to play tug-of-war with the tiger. Who do you think won the battle?
Clare snuck a few short naps throughout the action-packed day.
Clare loved her cuddle time with Uncle Brian and Aunt Marcie!

Little Miss Drools-A-Lot wishes that she could see her Aunt and Uncle more often!
