The week before Christmas was warm...
with typical Florida-like weather.
We went to Busch Gardens,
and Clare went on some of the rides for the first time.
Grandma Hillary rode on the carousel with the thrill-seeker.
Clare was fascinated with the stilt-walkers.
Grandpa helped her scale the walls.
Daddy showed her the orangatans.
She practiced her princess wave while riding the tractor...
how's that for an oxymoron?!
She enjoyed playing outside...without a hat or mittens.
THEN...we went to Michigan.
We quickly learned that it takes 15 minutes to prepare
for a 10 minute trip outside.
Ever since we've been back in Florida, it has been COLD! We've had record-breaking temperatures...with several nights of frost and below-freezing temperatures. Brrr! Every night, for the past week, Phil has crawled into bed saying, "I wish we had an electric blanket." Seriously, an electric blanket in Florida. This darn global warming.

She is so stinkin' cute! That's my only comment 'cause that's all I was thinking while looking at the pics. Cute!
Love the posts Coco:) Can't believe how big your little girl is getting....Makes me SO sad that I still have yet to meet her!!
Miss you-
xoxo
Col
im babysitting pronto.
and look at how cute your hair is!
although i probably already told you that.
Ha, this is the reason I don't usually let my kids play outside in the winter (at least not on my watch)...15 minutes to get ready, and then after 10 minutes outside they want to come because it's too cold! My kids also need an extra backpack just to haul all that gear to school for recess!
Pretty sure Clare is going to need more than snow pants for the next Ice Age that is sure to hit before I see another post!
