Timber

Clare is not unique in that she's an 18-month-old who loves blocks, but these blocks are special.  For one, they are Discovery Toys (duh!)...(Check out the link), but each block has a touchy-feely side, and they tell the story a typical day (starting with "Good Morning" and soft pajamas and working up to "Sweet Dreams" with a fluffy pillow).  As we build the tower, we're essentially reading a book, looking at pictures, and experiencing different textures.
How's that for multi-tasking?
She typically stands in front of the tower until I say, "Timber!"
"Timber!"
If you want to order these blocks, I will give you 10% OFF your entire order.  Check out my website,
and let me know if you're interested in anything!

She is so cute!!! I love her hair too. In the second picture it looks like she has the "bump-it" in, very stylish!

If I had a little one, I would totally order the blocks from you!

To answer your question about the peanut chicken...yes, I find that it is runny. However, when I made it on Thursday night that was actually the first time it wasn't runny. What I did different that night was to let the liquid portion boil for several minutes before adding the noodles. I think this "boiled off" some of the liquid, know what I mean?

The other things I changed are: use asian sesame dressing instead of Catalina, double the amount of peanut butter, and set the cooked chicken aside and add it back in when you add the vegetables. I found that the chicken seemed to get dried out otherwise.

P.S. Is Claire still taking her dumps in that play house? The pictures of the play house reminded me of that.

Abbie loves those blocks, too, but not so much for the texture and the story. For the absolute destruction you can impose!
