Question #1
Both of our families were/are in town.  We love having family here, and we see them as much as possible.  In the top picture, Grandma Hillary, Clare, and I were all wearing aqua fleece and jeans.  Awww...  In the bottom picture, Grandpa and Grandma Durham are watching Clare play in her new sandbox (future post).

Question #5
The following pictures show the pipe that started leaking on Saturday afternoon... as well as the damage that resulted.
The plumber had to blast some holes in our tiled wall/shower.  Our ENTIRE bathroom and bedroom are covered in sawdust.  EVERYTHING!  I've already dusted/washed the bathroom down once, but that was futile.
Our bedroom is torn apart because of the water damage on the left side.  We had to move everything around so that we could tear up the carpet, remove all the padding, and make room for the extraction service to dry out the walls, carpet, and floor boards.
These machines have been running non-stop for the last three days, and we have been sleeping in the guest room.

So, how did you do on the quiz?
Believe it or not, we're surviving!

This too shall pass...

Homeownership is so much fun. Glad it wasn't an earthquake.

Wow, I'd say life is full!! Looks like some fun in the midst of it all, I love the picture of your parents camped out in the front of the sandbox, watching their greatest entertainment! Just think, a few years down the road you'll look back and laugh, right?

Brian, haha, does that surprise you that Phil would leave out that little tidbit? :) Dead psycho bugs sound cool! Though I'd like to see some pictures first before I commit to Ann's offer. :)

So sorry about your house! I guess stuff like that happens, and it's a good opportunity to remind yourself God's in control, and as long as you have your family close and your health, all the other stuff is just "stuff". :) I'm glad you're so wise. Any changes you'll be doing to the bathroom/bedroom now that you have to fix it?
