This picture was taken last week...
at 14 weeks pregnant.
I certainly feel as though I'm popping much earlier with this pregnancy. I had to go buy some new clothes because my old maternity clothes didn't fit this season. A few things I forgot about being in the early stages of pregnancy:
* Bizarre cravings:
RED MEAT, eggs, cheese, Honeycomb cereal, licorice, cake, and mangoes....basically protein and sugar.
* Weakened bladder:
Waking 2-3 times every night...ugh!
* Nausea:
God has a wonderful way of helping us forget the terrible nausea and vomiting, but it is VERY clear in my mind right now.
* Fatigue:
I remember being tired when pregnant with Clare, but this is completely different. I'm sure the addition of Clare, my ACTIVE little toddler, doesn't help with the extreme fatigue.
* Excitement:
Amidst all of the less than appealing aforementioned side effects of pregnancy, there is tremendous excitement and joy. Clare "knows" there is a baby in Mommy's belly. We pray for our little one every day. We anxiously await doctor's appointments where we get to hear the heart beat or see the baby move. What a blessed time!

You are such an inspiration. Despite the yucky parts of pregnancy, God is creating a life that will make this world a better place and we will love him/her to pieces as long as we live. Thanks for going thru the yucky stuff for us so we can enjoy another amazing Hillary/Durham. :)
Can't wait to meet my new niecephew!!
So happy for you guys!
Come visit me! We are in the full swing of mango season and there's a tree right outside our house for you! And you look so great pregnant!
What a cute baby bump! Yes, you definitely "pop" earlier with the second one!
That's so sweet that Clare understands about the baby:) When Lainey was born Alivia was only 21 months, so she was pretty clueless throughout my whole pregnancy!
Yay! You look so cute! And, your "bizarre" cravings are my normal diet... just wanted to clear that up. :)
You look great Corrie!!! This baby is so blessed, as are all of you :-) OH and what a great combo of meat and sugar....can't go wrong with that?!?!?!?!
