Florida weather makes it challenging to do certain things.
Playing in the outdoor sandbox, in the middle of the afternoon, is nearly OUT OF THE QUESTION due to the upper-90-degree heat and humidity.
Therefore, we created an indoor "sandbox."
Clare used my remaining dinner ingredients (bread crumbs) as a sandbox.
It was fun while it lasted...
...until Daddy came home and got stuck with the clean-up.
Naked Buns thought that was part of the fun.
Here's a tiny glimpse:
The following pictures do not reflect an intentional play experience.
Clare dumped out the garbage full of shredded paper in effort to create a snowstorm. Like I said, it's hot down here!
What do you find more strange...
The fact that she is half-naked AGAIN...
OR
That she is stuffing shredded paper (a.k.a. "snow") in her socks.
What does this girl have with putting things in her socks?
She past post "Blocks in Her Socks"
Here's a snippet of Clare's fun in the snow.

That little Clare is always up to something fun and cute. :) Great job capturing all these moments. Favorite part was when she said "too much" as she looked at the sandcastle spillover on the floor. Ha! And, nothing weird about being naked as a kid, but DEFINITELY strange she likes the sensation of things in her socks! haha. Especially crinkly paper!
The naked buns picture is great!! And I totally agree with Lisa, the sock thing, very weird, but very very funny!
I think she might be a hoarder... I'm just surprised it isn't cookies.
Reasons why Clare should come to Qatar:
1) The entire country is one giant sandbox
2) She wants to fly in an airplane, so why not give her 14 hours of joy?!?
3) Everything is air-conditioned so well that it could practically snow inside.
Let me know when I should pick her up from the airport
Love, love, love naked baby buns!
I have to admit, I feel a little better knowing that Florida isn't all sunshine and rainbows. I have been jealous of y'all all winter!
