D3 = Daddy-Daughter-Date
I don't know who is more excited about this new adventure.
Daddy and Clare started fishing together when we were in Michigan.
They both had a GREAT time...
...and they even caught several fish!
Clare kept asking to go fishing with Daddy,
and that was a date that he couldn't turn down!
He even let her wear his "brother's trip/fishing hat."
Now that we're back in Florida, the fishing is a bit different!
Our neighborhood is right on a lake, but you have to pay for access to the launch. We've lived here for 4.5 years, but we've never been on the lake. My parents and sister surprised Phil with a lake access/membership gift for his birthday,
and it was actually a gift for all of us!

As I type this, Clare and Daddy are out on the lake for the very first time. After picking out her own fishing pole, loading up the boat, and packing her favorite snacks, she was SO EXCITED! I have a feeling that there will be many more fishing D3's in their future. :)

I hope that they catch lots of fish. It looks like they have the right gear. This was a joint gift to Phil from Ninnie (Ann) as well.
I think that Phil totally looks as excited as Clare about the fishing! So cute!
Wow! I don't think I even noticed that there was a lake in the area. What a great gift! That might make your day activities get a little more exciting this next year. :) Thanks for sharing this fun adventure with us! Happy belated birthday to Clare Bear!!

I love this!!! And I'm sure that lake pass is opening up a whole new realm of possibilities!
