I never really imagined being a part of a fishing family. Even though I grew up on a lake, I didn't grow up fishing. I happily married into this equation,
and our little ones come by it genetically.
and our little ones come by it genetically.
We went out on our lake on Friday night and enjoyed a beautiful evening on the water.
The kids LOVE being on the boat, Phil loves having a fishing pole in hand, and I love being with my family and away from every other distraction.
We capture the best smiles out on the boat.
A beautiful October evening in Florida.

As mentioned in other fishing posts, the highlight for the kids is snack time.
Clare decided to use my legs as a table...naturally, right?!
This was the biggest (okay...ONLY) catch of the night.
Clare spotted the cross in the sky.
Isaac kept saying, "FASTER, Daddy...FASTER!"
This is how Mama goes fishing: sit back, watch your family, and RELAX!
We started heading in as the sun went down.
Perfect way to spend a Friday evening.

LOVE Isaac's smiles in this post... Pure JOY!!
What fun memories you guys are creating. I love the idea of a trike a thon. And I can't believe Phil did that whole bathroom himself- I am exhausted just looking at the pictures! And you are looking great Corrie, can't wait to see Quatro!
Love these pictures. The wonderful smiles, the evening sky and the cross.
