This owl, and one of his buddies, frequent out backyard. Phil usually hears them before we see them, and then he calls out to them. Phil and the owls hoot back and forth, and then they have a stare down. On this day, Phil won.
How Awesome! We used to go out with my dad and an old tape recorder. He would have owl calls on a tape...but we never were able to see one this clear. That is quite impressive!
