The first picture is from a long time ago, but it gives you the idea.
While we were gone, Phil painted the room, organized all of the junk, and created a wonderful storage/shelving unit.
The shelves (on the left) hold SO MUCH STUFF, and they will help us stay clean and organized. 
This is our make-shift basement for now, but at least it's tidy, organzined, and surrounded by a great new color. 
Needless to say, Phil was VERY busy while we were gone. He was sore and worn out from lifting all the awkward lumber by himself, but everything turned out perfectly. What a guy! :)

Uh, call me crazy, but that first picture of the so called "messy room" didn't/doesn't look that messy to me. Maybe it is due to that fact the my room is even more of a disaster than that. Oh no, if Corrie thinks that that room is a junk room...what is MY room?!?!?

Yeah, no kidding, Ann. Bill and Margaret, it's never too late to have more Hillary boys! Though it won't do Ann and I much good at this point! lol.
Great room Phil! I think we all knew a little better though...you would never just stay home and play all weekend! You're always working on something! Nice job securing best-husband award 16 months running! :)
And Corrie, thanks for humbling yourself and showing us your "junk" room, even if we couldn't see much junk there. The new room looks great!
I just thought of this, but you could put matresses on those shelves down the road and fit like 6 kids in one room! I think that was really Phil's idea...
First of all, I would have to agree with Hannah...if that before picture is your idea of messy, wait until Clare gets to be our age...oh how things will change! I think Hannah could side with me on this one! haha
Secondly, what a guy you snatched Corrie!! Nice work, Phil. You are giving us girls hope that genuine guys are still out there!!
