This is a quick picture (taken from the car) of the raceway where the Daytona 500 is held.
Phil was trying to soup up his car for a big race.
Our first meal was at The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
We played lots of games: 12 rounds of Yahtzee
5 rounds of Racko
I enjoyed reading on our "private" beach.
I earned this mini-vacation from Discovery Toys, so we didn't have to pay for our hotel.
Phil enjoyed swimming and catching the waves.
We went to the MOAS (Museum of Arts and Science)
We walked through the nature trail, and that was right up Phil's alley.

We visited the "tallest lighthouse in Florida."
We enjoyed dinner, with live music and a view of the inlet,

Looks like a great little get-away! Glad to see you guys had a wonderful time together. Miss you!
And your little girl missed you!! I could see it in her poor puppy dog eyes when I skyped with her...in between swinging and going for a walk with grandpa.
Good for you guys, Corrie. Everyone wins...you and Phil get some alone time together, your parents get alone time with Clare and I've read that even our babies need a break from us. Hard to believe, but...well, just good all the way around!
Ok...I'm totally laughing! What is up with that?! We finally have a time to get a minor break from our little people and yet we are so drawn to other children when ours are not around...then we miss them dearly?! It's a funny thing...and a good thing! You are a great mom Corrie!
