Fall, in Florida, is missing several things:
cool weather, falling leaves, and changing colors.
The #1 thing that we miss in Florida is apple season!
Phil and I LOVE Honeycrisp apples, but at $3.99 a pound we would need to take out a second mortgage in order to afford them. When my mom surprised us and sent a huge box of these treasures, we were in apple heaven. I think we averaged about four apples a day, and our supply didn't last long.
Clare quickly caught on to all the hype and joined right in the feast.
YUM!
Need I say more?

I find myself nodding my head to a lot of your posts- we are in the same boat in a lot of ways!
I know your post is about apples, but I was focused on how she crosses her sweet little feet. CUTE!
I'm so sorry you don't have honey crisp apples in Florida, how sad. I was over the moon when I found them at our local farmer's market. I guess I never even thought about it when we decided to move to Madison. Happy to see your little cutie appreciates a good apple too!
Chris has a connection to the guy who "invented" the honeycrisp apple!
Oh, I totally hear you on missing the apple season. I miss cider so much. We went to find some "real" cider last year at and "orchard" (not your MI orchard by any means) and it was $12 a gallon!!!!!! We were so desparate that we bought it and split it with friends. And they didn't even have any donuts to go with it! So sad. :(
