A few weeks ago, Clare did something that deserved a "special treat." While I really can't remember what she did, I do remember what she wanted for her "treat."
A HAMMER!
Yes, she asked for her very own hammer.
That rang as music to Daddy's ears all the way to Home Depot,
and she came home proudly holding her special hammer.

She quickly realized that the hammer wasn't much fun without a project, so they decided to build a birdhouse together. I don't know who had more fun, but I will say that it brought incredible joy to the Mama watching from inside.
