Last weekend was a real treat for me.
One of my dear friends, Meredith (and her wonderful husband, Eric), came to visit for the weekend. It was a touch of my college days, a touch of rooted friendship,
and a much-needed touch of HOME!
Clare enjoyed the extra attention as we went to a Fall Festival, out for pizza,
AND out for ice cream!
The boys realized how much they had in common...
namely their deep love of fossils.
Seriously!
Their happy faces are much more believable. :)
Thank you, Meredith and Eric, for making the long trip down here. It was SUCH a JOY to spend the weekend with you, and we hope it happens again SOON!

I love to see your Hope reunion pics. Eric was in my class. A really great guy! I took Abbie to campus last weekend and between my love of that place and the hormones, I was a complete wreck:-)
Ha ha you know who Phil reminds me of with the fossils... someone from Friends of course :)
