School Party

Today was Clare's first school "party."

Today was also Mommy's first party as a helper.

To top off the excitement, Daddy was able to join us for the party as well.  YEAH!

 Here's the little prayer before the feast, 

and I just thought it was too cute to omit.

 Phil and I noticed that most of the kids ate their chicken nuggets first.

Clare, as you can see, went straight for the cookie.

 1st party = Success!

I am so blessed to have the privilege of staying home with our children, and these are moments that will always be treasured.  As my mom has always said, "Sometimes the days feel long, but the years are fast."  Very true!  So, as my little girl jumped on my lap, grabbed my face, and screamed "I love you" from across the sandbox, I tucked away those special moments and enjoyed the day!
