Our house is full of bright colors,
and this is one of the newest pieces of art added to our kitchen area.
We've been having a lot of fun with these little canvas frames.
We made a special hand print flower for Mema's Christmas present, and we made a tree for Daddy. The kids (more the 3-year-old than the 1-year-old) love getting all covered in paint, and it's a fun way to make bright, personalized, affordable gifts/art!

That's our favorite kind of art, too! We have it all over the house. Good for you for encouring them to be creative!
