Although Valentine's Day isn't a huge ordeal around here,
we still had fun with some little things:
We call these "Bird Nests"...with a fried egg inside a piece of toast...
extra festive when it's in the shape of a heart.
My little preschooler donning her heart-shaped sweater...
...chowing down her heart-shaped cookie.
My heart is full of joy and love...namely for my amazing husband, two healthy and happy children, my supportive family, and my dear friends. Happy Valentine's Day!

Love the bird's nest. Can't wait until I have someone around here that will enjoy fun foods like that!! Good work mama!
Valentine's Day is a good day to enjoy lots of hearts. Great pictures.
You are so beautiful!! Tell whoever took the pictures, thanks! We like seeing you. :) Fun birds nest idea too. OH, and I was telling someone about the decorate-paper-plate idea we did as kids that you have done with Clare, but can't find them online anywhere. Please tell us your secret plate-making company!
The "little" things often make the biggest impact. We celebrated in a similar way...lots of extra hearts around our house this year:-)
Oh, and P.S...like Lisa, I would like to know the secret plate-making company. Is it too early to start planning for Christmas 2012?
I heart you!
