So help me, Myles is THREE!
By the time the other two were three, I already had another baby in the house. Myles is still my baby, but he is three. Therefore, not a baby. Yet, always my baby.
Here is "Merciful and Gracious" Myles at just minutes old,
and he's had my heart since then.
I could look at his baby pictures for hours.
Anyhow...
Myles is our little ham bone.
He is irresistibly charming, but there is usually mischief in his eyes.
He cracked the back of his head open on the pool deck (back in June) and wound up with four staples in the back of his little noggin. Now he and Daddy have a matching scar.
Myles is a cuddle bug. He loves snuggling with Mommy, and he asks me to cuddle with him every night. He is experimenting with a new phase of sleeping on the bottom of the bed rather than the top, and on top of the blankets rather than beneath. It matters not to me as long as he stays in bed all night.
He is ABSOLUTELY obsessed with orange. He plays with the orange Legos, he picks out the orange M&M's, he insists on wearing orange clothing every day, and he points out every orange thing that he sees outs and about.
He has his Daddy's love for animals and the outdoors.
He hates being wet.
He loves being naked.
If so much as a drop of water gets on his clothes, he strips them off and either runs around naked or finds dry clothes.
Interestingly enough, he doesn't mind being wet when it's natural...pool, lake, bath.
He learned to water ski this summer, and it was awesome/terrifying watching our two-year-old getting pulled behind a boat.
He has the energy of a jack rabbit. He wakes up early and doesn't miss a bit until we force him to slow down and go to bed.
Myles is a whopping 31 pounds. He is small but mighty.
- Favorite Activity: Mowing the lawn with Daddy. This is, hands down, his VERY FAVORITE THING ON EARTH! He will choose mowing the lawn with Daddy
over EVERYTHING else.
- Favorite Song: "Like a Drum" - He dances like it's his job when he hears this song.
- Favorite Friend: Cambrie...his birthday twin. They truly have a unique connection...maybe it's because they were born just hours apart, or maybe it's because they see each other all the time. Either way, it's incredibly sweet!
Myles celebrated his birthday with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese...with just Mommy and Daddy. He then chose McDonald's for dinner and ORANGE cake for dessert. It was a wonderful day celebrating our littlest love.
