This (daddy-daughter nap time) is almost a daily occurrence. I just can't resist taking pictures of my two favorite people in such a peaceful place.
I LOVE it when Clare smiles in her sleep. I think she's probably filling her diaper, but it's still adorable!!!
Even though she looks like a rag doll, she actually loves being held like that. Thanks for the trick, mom!

When I was on my break last week at work, there was a mother and her baby girl sitting right across from me. The baby girl kept looking over at me and smiling and laughing, so her mother had a hard time feeding her. The mother and I eventually caught eyes and talked a bit. She told me that her baby was only eight months old. That's when I thought of you, Corrie. It made me think how TINY your Clare-Bear must be if that little eight month baby was as small as she was (also how ADORABLE Clare must be since that baby girl was so CUTE!). Anyways, just a small story that made me think of you! The pictures are great, as always! :)

I just found your blog through Heidi (Hickman's), and I wanted to stop by and tell you Congratulations! Corrie, you don't really know me, but I graduated with Phil and kind of grew up with him living right around the corner from him and our families going to church together. My husband and I know first-hand the joy of little girls, as we have two! Congratulations, and enjoy every minute of it...they truly grow up too fast!
Wow, she is already looking so big! Has it really already been two weeks?! You have no idea how much I have loved seeing your blog posts every few days, Cor. It makes us out-of-towners feel a bit more connected. And hey, p.s, I know you aren't headed for school anytime soon, but us Mattawanians (is that a word?) start this upcoming Tuesday! I can't belive my junior year is about to start...I miss my eigth grade life (and favorite teacher, of course!) Miss you. Love you.
