We're in the middle of a "cold front." I know that all things are relative...especially considering our dear friends and family in the arctic north. We, however, are not used to such chilly temperatures, so we have to bundle up!

Clare's not quite sure how to move beneath all of the layers.

She kept trying to squeeze her little hands out of the cuffs of her jacket.

Even our fruit trees needed some bundling. We covered our lime tree (that we bought on our honeymoon) and our mango tree (that we received as a Christmas gift from Grandpa and Grandma Hillary). Minus the blanket of snow, it almost felt like Michigan as it reached low-30's in The Sunshine State.

Try negative degrees in Fahrenheit--from your family in the north.
Come on, I know it's actually Phil playing hide-and-seek underneath the sheet in the last picture.
Cute! This cold front will help you appreciate the beautiful weather even more when it returns. :) A warm front has come thru Phx and I haven't used my heat in a week! I just leave the shades open and it warms up enough that it's 72 still in the morning...not sure how I'll ever leave this!
Dear Clare,
I just wanted to make sure your mom was still alive. We haven't seen any new pictures of you and I know we're all getting a little worried.
Please tell her to stop tailgating for the Superbowl and get back to blogging. :)
Love and sunshine from AZ,
Lisa
