The last few days have been incredibly busy. Even though we haven't had time to post updates to our blog, we've still been taking lots of pictures of our little munchkin. The first picture captures the essence of our days...smiles and joy!
On Friday, the three of us spent most of the day at IKEA in Orlando. That was, by far, the biggest adventure thus far in Clare's short life. We were looking for stuff to help my sister outfit her new townhouse, and it turned out to be quite an eventful day. Miss Clare was more of a trooper than her mother. I'm still learning how to adjust to all of the unexpected moments that come with parenthood. I love being a mother, and I love Clare more than I ever knew possible, but I'm still adapting to twists and turns that pop up on a daily basis. It makes me more and more grateful for my mom...a woman of patience, grace, flexibility, and unconditional love.
Yes, Clare, your dad is a HOTTIE!!! We're blessed to be "his girls."
Happy and content!
Play time!
Fully alert and flirty!

she is the cutest thing ever :)
So what kinds of things pop up? Like diaper poop-outs, deciding to be hungry in the middle of the grocery store...? I'm curious.
Very cute. I love all the funny bibs. A not-so-tasteful yet still entertaining one came in last week to the urgent care my friend works at. The mom was the patient and brought her baby with her, and his bib said "My mom puts out". Nice huh! I suppose I can appreciate the humor but will not be dressing my child in something like that. : )
Maybe you could find a bib that says, "My mother's a first-born."
Hey Cor--Clare is adorable and getting so big already:) I love your hair cut..so cute! So is your sister moving by you?? If so, hooray! how awesome is that! i miss my family like crazy..especially now with having Trey.
Talk to you soon lady.
Hugs,

Here's what I've come to realize: Clare loves you the way that you love her...unconditionally and completely. So, even when you feel like you've dropped the ball or she deserves more than you can give in any particular moment, she's got nothin' but love for you! You can take some of that pressure off yourself. Count your Ikea trip as a learning experience. I bet you'll be prepared for those "incidences" next time!
I'm glad you have your mom there. Grandmas make the best teachers!
