4 = weeks old at our appointment with the pediatrician this week.50th = percentile for Clare's weight
9.5 = Clare's weight (9 lbs 5 oz. at 4 weeks old)
95th = percentile for Clare's length (maybe she inherited Phil's length)
23 = inches long at 4 weeks
30 = minutes of "The Happiest Baby on the Block" DVD that we watched on Thursday. Dr. Harvey Karp is widely recognized for his techniques in "training" babies to be content and happy. Even though Clare is already a very content baby, we didn't think it would hurt to learn more about how to meet her needs. We learned a new swaddling technique as well as the side hold. Clare seems to love it.
9 = number of hours that Clare slept on Thursday night. WOW! That was a huge blessing, and we hope it becomes a pattern. :)
2 = number of parents who have fallen deeply in love with this little blessing.

So the Clack's have been horrible about updating our blog lately. I will try to get my act together over the weekend. These last few weeks just seem to be sooo busy! Clare is adorable! We can't wait to meet her. Did you guys pick a time to come up here yet? We have something for her... should we mail it to you or wait in hopes that we might get to see you when you come back in town??? We know you will be busy showing that little baby off to family so just let us know and we are cool with either! we love you guys! We are hoping to come down to FL in May of next year again to visit Anna Maria Island.. .by then Phil might be teaching Clare to use her diggers! :)

I just LOVE when babies sleep with their hands above their heads! It's so cute... I'm glad she is sleeping through the night. You must have some serious nutrition in that milk, girl, for her to go that long without getting hungry! : )
