Clare loves her daddy...
and the music at church. Tonight was Clare's first time at church (since she stayed home with grandpa and grandma for the past few weeks), and she loved the music. When I was pregnant, she was always VERY ACTIVE during church. We could feel her moving, kicking, and dancing to the music. Tonight, during her first church experience out of the womb, she smiled and sat peacefully throughout the whole service. YEAH!!!

Clare also loves staring at daddy when he changes her diaper. Phil is the Diaper King, and Clare is so calm and content when he changes her. It goes without saying, but I am incredibly blessed to have such an amazing husband. He does SO MUCH for us, and he's a natural when it comes to parenthood. Clare and I are the luckiest two girls that I know. :)

I'm loving this 'a blog a day' thing that you've got goin' on! I get excited seeing a new title every time that I get on. All of the stories are so fun to read, Corrie! It's almost like being in your class, again. :)
I second that, Hannah!! Well, what a blessing to have a young baby who actually likes to go to church and will sit quietly through it... the future is looking bright!! Also, maybe a bigger blessing, how great that Phil is so involved, even down to every messy diaper? I can only pray that my future husband and I are as blessed in our relatioship as the two of you are! You guys give me hope, you know that??!!
If Clare is so content with Phil's diapering abilities, she may never want to be potty-trained...watch out!
Has anyone else commented that she looks like your mom yet, Corrie? I stand by it...more and more everyday!
I feel like I know her already! I think we all suspected that she'd be a daddy's girl though!! : ) And if he looks at her anywhere near the way he looks at you, he's a goner!
